Workflow: Gamete handling
Denuding pipettes are used with the 3-in-One pipette controller and other holders for denudation and for gamete and embryo transfer. They are made of borosilicate glass, known for stability and resistance to corrosion and chemicals. Glass offers better wetting than plastic and is less likely to retain oil droplets inside, which can harm oocytes or embryos. Unpolished pipettes remove cumulus cells on the zona before micromanipulation and fertilization assessment. Polished pipettes transfer blastomeres (during PGS), oocytes, or embryos between dishes. Manufactured by Sunlight Medical (SLM) and supplied by UniMed Moldova. Handmade, individually inspected, fully traceable; 2-cell MEA and endotoxin tested.
