Overview
Blastomere biopsy pipettes remove blastomeres and trophectoderm cells from embryos for preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD/PGT). Sunlight pipettes are manufactured for consistency, precision, and reliability. Manufactured by Sunlight Medical (SLM) and supplied by UniMed Moldova. Flat or beveled tips; inner diameters of 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 µm (20 µm and 25 µm recommended for trophectoderm biopsy). Tip angles 0°–45° (most common 30° or 35°). Elbow length 0.55 mm. No shrinkage at the bend reduces blastomere damage if aspirated through the bend. Fire-polished tips; colour-coded cases; 2-cell MEA and endotoxin tested.
