Overview
Zona drilling micropipettes have a fire-polished, flat tip to apply acidic solution (e.g. Acid Tyrode’s) locally on the zona pellucida for assisted hatching and embryo biopsy. They complement mechanical PZD pipettes, which cut the zona without acid. Manufactured by Sunlight Medical (SLM) and supplied by UniMed Moldova. Each pipette is handmade and individually inspected with full manufacturing traceability. Colour-coded pipette safe cases; gamma irradiated; 2-cell MEA, endotoxin, and mouse embryo assay tested.
