Overview
PZD pipettes (partial zona dissection) mechanically open the zona pellucida with one or more slits for assisted hatching or biopsy. They are made from thoroughly cleaned borosilicate capillaries. Tips are extremely spiky and fast tapering — unlike zona-drilling pipettes, which have fire-polished tips for acidic opening with Acid Tyrode’s solution. Manufactured by Sunlight Medical (SLM) and supplied by UniMed Moldova. Optimized sterile packaging for secure transport and safe removal. Handmade, individually inspected, fully traceable; 2-cell MEA and endotoxin tested; fire-polished where specified to limit membrane damage.
