Workflow: Embryo Culture

Overview

The Esco MIRI® II-12 Multiroom Incubator dedicates one chamber per patient with 12 separate compartments and 24 PID temperature controllers. Recirculated gas with 254 nm UVC treatment, dual-beam IR CO₂ and medical-grade O₂ sensors, and independent heated lids and bottoms provide stable culture for gametes and embryos during IVF and ART. Built-in touchscreen PC enables monitoring, alarms, validation ports, and full data logging.

One chamber — one patient

Chambers are thermally independent; opening one lid does not affect others. PET layer separates lid and bottom temperatures.

Superior recirculating gas system

Gas is continuously replenished and cleaned via UVC with ozone-inhibiting filters. Full gas refresh in under 5 minutes.

Heated lid and heated bottom

Prevents condensation and delivers direct heat transfer to culture dishes via optimization plates.

Fast temperature and gas recovery

Rapid return to setpoints after chamber access supports uninterrupted workflow.

Touchscreen PC and data logging

Monitor temperature and gas, view graphs and alarms, export QC data via USB, and connect external HDMI display.

Stress-free validation

Built-in PT-1000 sensors per compartment plus 12 gas sample ports; circuitry separate from control electronics.
